The beginning of the Mercury Capsule:

Several years ago, my dream was to make a life size model of the Mercury Capsule. After studying pictures, diagrams, doing my research I finally decided it was time to make that dream come true. I first had to make patterns out of cardboard which I transferred to the aluminum and started on the heatshield.
